The Andy Panayi Quartet (jazz)

I last blogged about the Andy Panayi quartet in May 2012 when they were touring an evening of Cole Porter music to venues including Eastbourne's Under Ground Theatre. Now, almost exactly two years later, the quartet is returning to the Under Ground.

The line up this time around comprises of Andy Panayi on baritone/tenor saxes and flute, Mark Nightingale on trombone,  Simon Woolf on bass and Clark Tracey on drums. Their repertoire is very likely to include several Cole Porter tunes as well as Thelonius Monk compositions and melodic originals.

Under Ground Theatre, Fri 9th May, 20.00.
Tickets £11, students and UGT members £10, available online, by calling 0845 680 1926, or in person from the Under Ground Theatre and Eastbourne Tourist Information Centre.
