Cosi Fan Tutte (opera)

A fresh, vibrant young cast stars in The Met Opera's lively production of Mozart's celebrated opera, Cosi Fan Tutte, which will be screened at Eastbourne's Cineworld towards the end of April. Music director James Levine - famed for his work with the likes of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Munich Philharmonic - makes his long-awaited return to the podium to conduct and Lesley Koenig's inventive staging brings Mozart's beloved masterwork to life.

Officers Ferrando (Matthew Polanzani) and Guglielmo (Rodion Pogossov) are devoted to their sweethearts - sisters Dorabella (Isabel Leonard) and Fiordiligi (Susanna Phillips). But cynical older gentleman Don Alfonso believes that all women are inherently unfaithful. In order to prove his theory, he makes a crafty wager that he can expose Dorabella and Fiordiligi's true natures. Amused, Ferrando and Guglielmo agree to the wager.
