An American Werewolf In London (film)

Sheer coincidence (probably), but at the moment, I'm reading a biography of Warren Zevon and his biggest hit was the song Werewolves in London. The song has nothing to do with the vintage horror movie though and that is what will be shown at the Redoubt Fortress next week, on Friday the 25th of October. There will also be a few short film by Bloody Cuts Films and all attendees will be given a silver bullet - just in case!

Originally released in 1981, An American Werewolf In London stars David Naughton as David Kessler and Griffin Dunne as Jack Goodman, two young backpackers travelling around England. Whilst stupidly walking across a deserted moor at night - have they never seen a horror film? - Dunne's character is attacked and killed by a werewolf. Naughton hospitalised and alone begins to have a series of nightmares through which he learns that he is now also a werewolf and will transform at the next full moon.

Redoubt Fortress, Fri 25th Oct, 20:00.
Tickets £5, available in person from the museum. email for further details.
