Italian born Albert Parmigiani has been chosen to be the featured artist at the Under Ground Theatre for the
duration of August so you can see his work in the foyer every Friday and Saturday up until the 31st, and also in the evenings if you are going to any other Under Ground events.
Originally from Piacenza, an ancient town in northern Italy, Parmigiani came to art late in life. He creates wonderful paper sculptures of animals, real and imagined, including his signature dinosaurs which were suggested to him by his young grandson. The sculptures are intricately crafted by folding and rolling paper sheets and are then painted to give an interesting textured effect.
Under Ground Theatre, Fri 2nd to Sat 31st Aug, 10:00-16:00.
