Musicals featuring the back catalogue of popular bands are becoming increasingly prevalent and they seem to fall into one of two categories - either telling the story of the band itself or weaving a fictional tale around their existing songs. New Jersey Nights is in the former camp celebrating the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.
This is a David King production, so we can expect the same high standards as June 2012's Bohemian Rhapsody, and has been both directed and choreographed by Emma Rogers. It has smashed box office records right across the USA and Britain and is proving to be one of the most successful touring shows of all time. The cast of Damion Scarcella, Ricky Rojas, Jon Hawkins and Simon Schofield will be joined by dancers Charlie England, Charlotte Greaves, Robyn Ford, Jonathan Cook, Bethany Dows and Simone Cristofaro. There will be a live band onstage, some great-looking sets and all the Four Seasons biggest hits including Rag Dolls, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Walk Like A Man and many more.
