Lark In The Park Funday

The big annual fundraising event for local charity Lark In The Park is taking place over the last two days in June and is already promising to be a pretty fantastic weekend even though not all the stalls and entertainments have been confirmed as yet. Eastbourne's Mayor will officially open the event on the 29th of June at noon. The stalls and stages will be open from 11am to 4pm on both days and there will also be a Funfair until 8pm. The venue is the Seaside Recreation Ground which is all open air so lets start sundancing and crossing fingers for good weather!

Lark in the Park themselves have a number of entertaining games planned including a raffle, a tombola, Spin the Wheel, Roll a Penny, Hook a Duck, Balls in a Bucket and Darts. The Sea Gypsies will be bellydancing, Rhythm Fire African Drummers and Skiffle band Recycled will play and there will also be a Chinese Dragon Dance. Plus the list of stalls (as of the 2nd of June) is as follows:
Several of the stalls are dog-related because another draw from the Sunday afternoon is Bark in the Park, a fun 15-class dog show. If your pooch is pretty or talented, take a look through the class list and get involved.

Seaside Recreation Ground, Sat 29th and Sun 30th Jun, 11.00 to 16.00.
