Belgian actress Deborah Francois stars as Rose alongside Romain Duris as her employer Louis Echard. The gorgeous costumes have been created by Charlotte David with great care taken to get the right feel for not only the period but also the original location of each character. Rose has a distinct provincial style whereas the city dwellers have a much sharper look. The witty film was co-written and directed by Regis Roinsard and is his first major feature. It has been nominated for several Cesar Awards and has already won Best Narrative Feature at the San Francisco Film Festival and the Audience Award at the Athens Francophone Film Festival.
