A Musical Novelty (theatre)

In an unplanned coincidence, the event date for today's post is exactly the same as for Night Folk on yesterday's blog - the 24th November. I don't think we'll be able to attend all of both though so decisions will need to be made!

Literature, theatre and music blend together 'for one night only' when EODS present A Musical Novelty at the Underground Theatre. The theme for the show is music that originated from novels and the company will be performing popular classics from Oliver! South Pacific, Cabaret, Guys And Dolls and Jungle Book. There will also be a taster of EODS 2013 Spring show with a selection of songs from the musical Sweeney Todd.

EODS have been producing shows in Sussex for over 100 years. The society has three sections - Dramatic / Operatic / Junior - which enables them to choose a great variety of productions. 2012 alone has seen Tales From Wales, Guys And Dolls, Macbeth and, currently, Aladdin/The Jungle Book.

Underground Theatre, Sat 24th Nov, 19:30.
Hailsham Pavilion, Sat 1st Dec, 14:30, 19:30.
Tickets £10, available by calling 07840 473818.
