The Angel's Share (film)

A quick blog today as I'm back from (not so) sunny Spain, need to get the Calendar page updated and also my Twitter account reinstated. They didn't like me tweeting from 'abroad' so apologies for the lack of updates from there recently.

Hailsham Pavilion has a couple of interesting looking films coming up, the first in July and the second at the very beginning of August.

The Angel's Share is a new Ken Loach film, a bitter-sweet comedy set in Scotland which tells the story of a young father-to-be who narrowly manages to avoid a prison sentence by joining a community scheme. He is determined to turn over a new leaf and when he and his friends from the same community payback group are taken to visit a whisky distillery, the germ of an idea forms.
The film has an ensemble cast including Paul Brannigan, John Henshaw, William Ruane, Gary Maitland, Jasmin Riggins, and Siobhan Reilly.

Hailsham Pavilion, Mon 16th - Thu 19th Jul, 19:45.
Wed 18th & Thu 19th Jul, 14:15.
Adult ticket £6.50, concessions £5, Wed matinee £4.50.
