The Eastbourne Bandstand tribute gigs have a vintage offering on the 14th of July when Iain Sparks will take to the stage performing as Roy Orbison.
Iain is a talented singer with an amazing four-and-a-half octave vocal range which enables him to recreate all of Roy's songs in their original keys. Audience members at past shows have sometimes assumed that he must be miming, the performance is so accurate, but Iain will definitely be singing and playing guitar live! He has performed on tours around the world including a memorable 'for one night only' with a 20 piece orchestra in Australia. He played Roy in the hit theatre show 'The Concert They Never Gave' as well as making other West End appearances and has also appeared on television programmes including Alan Carr and The Big Breakfast.
